I have just put a nice scrape mark (about 2 inches long) on the rim of my wheel.

The wheel doesn’t have any cracks etc it’s just scraped the alloy and gave the edge of my wheel bit of a flat spot!

Does any one know if I could get this repaired? Noticed "Chips Away" repair alloy wheels any one used them for this problem? or can suggest some where else?

Any help appreciated.

Yep I have a "Chips Away" leaflet which was posted to me and mentions alloy wheel repairs. Got a scratch for them to sort out so might see if they can do my wheel to

Let us know how good the repair is then

I've always been told that if you want the job doing well take it to a specialist wheel place

Do chips away take the tyre off if its needed or spray and fill round it ??

Wink

Had all my corners done, they were all scraped and kirbed when i bought it. kept promising myslef id get em done but other mods kpt taking precedence.PPP, inductions, eibachs, quickshifts, dawes, resprayed plastics. But finally id saved up enough for some new s03's so thought get me wheels done too.
Took me car to a co called Romax, they blasted all the dents etc out an i had em resprayed/treated in a anthracite/silver effect, they look the dogs horrocks, like totally new diff wheels, cost £240, if id just got the standerd silver colour then £160
