Good point
In two years of impreza ownership, i've not even thought about that?
I suppose it's because it was at the time, the most beefed up impreza availiable without importing (22b type uk aside) so deemed not required. Now though you can get a PPP for your STi7 Type UK so it figures that you should be able to get some sort of WR pack or PPP for the P1 ala RB5 stylie.
Just a thought

Echoing Josh there wasn't one - given the P1's official figs of 276bhp and 1280kg it's power to weight ratio as standard is still more than comparable to the Sti7 PPP levels.
Having said that, had my P1 given the EcuTek 3 treatment by BRD and it flies now compared to before

sorry,
i thought i read on here somewhere that you could have the option of ppp when the cars were brought from new, as with the bigger wheels and brakes.
Apparantly it took the power upto 300 bhp.

Apparently Prodrive did develop a PPP for the P1 but in the end they decided that the cost to the customer would be too much for the limited increase in power

Fat Boy,
i should point out at this stage that the STi7 Type UK PPP is actually over 1 second quicker to 100 than the P1 (heavier and less power to weight but it has a 6 speed box and closer ratios to keep it in the power band more )
0-100 in the P1 is 13.3 and the STi7 Type UK is 12.2.

Tony Depends whose figures you read. Autocar figured P1 to the ton at 12.3.
P1 has better bhp/ton of 219 as opposed to 209 of STi ppp. On the road a half second here or there makes b*gger all difference.

The only mention the Prodrive website gives the P1 is
'There is even a range of WR Sport parts for the Impreza P1, improving its already acclaimed levels of grip and balance yet further. '
Doesn't say exactly what this means though

I would have though an STI7 PPP would be closer to 14 seconds IMHO.

Tony,
PPP stands for Prodrive Performance Pack.
The WR version of the P1 was the one with all the nice 18 inch alloys as standard (uprated suspension and brakes??).

I haven't heard that but, with no disrespect to UK300 owners, if they did they were itellectually challenged. Realistically the 300 was hardly any different to the WRX, so I would have thought it would be more accurate to suggest it was more like a bugeyed Terzo.
