DBM Wagon - Red leather interior - Do u know this car?
#1
While my WRX is off the road I'm going to look at a DBM wagon on a T plate. Its done 110k roughly but the guy selling it doesn't know much about the car.
He says its "superchipped to 300bhp" (hmmm) but doesn't know what the chip is.
The unusual feature is a red "crocodile skin" leather interior. Does anyone recognise the sound of this car and know anything about its history/mods?
The chip side of things is really what I want to know about as I dont want a car thats done a lot of miles with a Superchip instead of a proper ECU!
Cheers
Ben

Oooooooooo, i'm sure it'll have a proper Ecu, it just happens to be a chipped proper Ecu.
I'll get my coat.
Ps> would you really buy a car with that interior? It sound's like someone fancies a bit of Pimping

Proper i.e Link/Gems etc as opposed to Superchip...
As for the pimp interior, I reckon with a nice leopard skin headlining it'll be right up my street!!
I just thought that with the (ahem) "distinctive" interior it might ring a few bells?

Superchip is a tiny box that fits into the wiring...
on early cars chips such as ours and prodrives can be found by opening the lid on the ecu and looking to see if there is an external board / eprom plugged into the socket..
