guys,
just about to place an order for MY03 WRX, but I'm not sure what the difference between the regular and "rally" seats is (the no cost option, without side bags)

I saw one of the 1st WRXs back in the day with rather flat looking seats- I suspect the normal ones.

Are the "rally" ones more like the old MY99 type (that I know and love.)???

If anyone can help (or even has pictures of the two types) I'd be most grateful......

For my MY02 they offered two types -

1st was 'standard' Sports seats with Side airbags, offer a little bit of laterial a support (like pretty standard sporty seats on a GTi of some kind)

2nd kind (much better) were rally bucket seats, higher backs, proper side supports for upper and lower body - but you have to sacrifice the side airbags, because the seats would get in the way

The "sport" seat is the one that carries a side airbag, has anedjustable head rest and looks like a conventional bucket seat for a car.

The "rally" seat is the one that used to completely standard in all Scoobs.

Unless you want the airbags or like there was a significant delay in delivery time I would get the rally seats!
