I was speaking to Nito today about what car to get next and I mentioned that I fancied my old MY97 UK car back.

According to Nito someone called Mervin bought it and occasionally comes on to Scoobynet. Wondered if you considered selling it??

Green Mica MY97 UK 4 door, black leather interior, Prodrive suspension, STI4 rear spoiler, anthracite 17" Speedline Superturmiso wheels and Prodrive quickshift.

Worth asking I guess!

If anyone knows the car or the owner, can you pass a message on.

Thanks
Andy

A picture before the wheels were powder coated in Volvo T5 anthracite!

Cheers Alex, just hope they fancy a change!

The car was traded in at Mill Lane Engineering, Basingstoke and I think sold by them on their forecourt.

And a BTTT!

It had high-ish mileage for the age, but it was a fun car.

I'll probably keep 'bttt'-ing this for another week. Sorry

It'd be rude not to put this BTTT and to get Andy back in the fold.

Justin,

My tyres ran 34psi around (as on the road) and there was half a bottle of NF to stop the top end noise (only happened on the rollers and not the road at the same revs!!)

Some went down the Shell to increase their tyre pressures to 40 psi!!

Increased tyre pressure gets translated as transmission loses. I seem to remember my loses were consistant, where as others varied greatly!!

Not justifying it again, we know my car produced fairly similar results a week apart at 2 different rolling roads. One is accused with giving 'big' figures and the other 'conservative' figures.

340.5bhp or 356bhp (about 4% difference!!)
278lbft or 299lbft (about 7% difference!!)

Not a dig Justin, but I think you owe me a beer (probably at the Peel!!)

LOL, Andy you don't have you justify the figures to me mate, stop being so touchy...unless you're in the Peel then you can be as touchy as you like

Why people pop to the the Shell garage to pump up their tyres is beyond me, I inflate mine before I set off
