Well, yes, I am willing to pursue it BUT how much would each manual cost? AND when will it be ready, even if they started in 2003?
Lets assume that they cost £20 each, not unreasonable, not sure if they would sell direct to the Scoobynet shop?? profit on each one to Scoobynet of £5? that leaves £15 - take off £5 for middle men and packaging and stuff and then Haynes gets £10 for each book. They will want a profit of what? £5 each? so thats back to £15.
We would need to sell around 6,500 - I should have thought that was achievable??? What do you think???

6,500 is a lot for Scoobyshop I think! Would have to get a chain shop involved somewhere. (Maybe the H word...)
Probably a non starter given the different types of Impreza, not to mention shape changes. Shame really, as it would be nice to have something on paper near the car when it's in pieces.

They could do it, yes. But as Pete said, how long would this take? A year? two? more? Research takes quite a long time and would cost. There's never going to be a large market for Impreza manuals.

Never seen a Haynes Manual telling you how to modify a car??
Not sure they would want to be sued when the engine blew up??
It would need to be a straight forward manual I reckon - but wouldnt it be great to read at night, I am sad I know but it would be better reading than most books to me!!

Haynes have already pulished 'Subaru Impreza Turbo, buying, enjoying, maintaining and modifying'
I have a copy, written by Chris Rees.
So they must be able to do a workshop manual......

Yeah, some sort of workshop manual would be good - I've often thought of hunting round for a Subaru workshop manual (must be at dealers?) and a large photocopier!
