I know you can now buy a new impreza turbo for £3000 off which has effected used car prices, which is logical.

And theres the new model coming out in March (i think)

But used prices seem to have crashed and the cars for sale on this site dont seem to be selling.

Are there any other facters i havent mentioned or are people just buying other marques now?

i think that there are lots of scoobs about to buy now.

people can afford to be more choosy, especially as you have highlighted, prices in the s/h market are poor.

more scoobs about and less people who want/can buy them, in my view. i think you more or less answered your own question.

i do think that the hothatch market has "hotted" up again with many exciting cars, civic type R, clio's and loads of other stuff that has recently come out with sereious power, has probably affected s/h scoob sales. these smaller cars cost a hell of a lot less to run/insure too. there was a period where the h/hatch market more or less disappeared, but i feel that it is back with a vengence.

Unfortunately for anybody that is selling Nov/Dec are bad months for car sales and so its not only Scoobys that are not selling. Also if you add in the current economic climate then it just makes things worse. Good news is that its a great time to buy!!!!
