I've got a 91 Legacy saloon as well and love it. I have only seen a handful of them since I bought it, mostly at the Network Q rally. They are a lot rarer than the Impreza and they do suprise some people! Great Q car.

Haven't done any mods to it yet but would like to.

I got the opportunity to buy a 1993 Legacy Turbo with full service history, dealer maintained.

What are the possible mods to give it a bit more power, handling and braking?

STI ECUs?
WRX struts, will they fit?
Brembo brakes (will WRX brakes fit)?

Any (mechanical) weaknesses to this car?

Great car, MUCH rarer than Impreza and VERY capable.
