Have any of you guys driven an EVO4? Opinions neede.

My old man bought one in 1998. I had a UK MY95 at the time, and so was able to draw a few comparisons, espcially as I collected it from Ireland for him and over the period of ownership put more miles on it than he did..
Comparing the two, the 4 was ridiculously fast, handled well and looked fairly understated compared to the 5 or 6. Not many people knew what they were then. For short blasts it was unbeatable.
But the Subaru (UK car remember) was a better all round car to use as an everyday prospect. More comfortable and refined, less hectic, less jiggly and nervous, and the one you were least likely to lose your licence in. At the time, our conclusion was that the Subaru was a great road car, whereas the Evo was nothing more than a Group N rallycar with trim.
Never driven an STi3, but would guess that the performance and character would be very similar. Difficult call as to which I would prefer. Probably the Scoob..
