I have ordered the PPP kit today, after researching as far as i can the EvoVII FQ 300. As most on here will be aware the EVOVII generally seems to win just about all reviews when they go head to head. Tests usually end with Impreza being the best car day to day, but if you want the ultimate.....blar blar blar...

Whilst I'll accept that the EVO VIIFQ300 may be sharper around the tighest of courners, the performance figures surprise me. The EVOFQ300 reaches 62 in 5.1 secs, which the STIPPP makes it in 4.6 secs. This leads me to feel that the Sti is infact the faster car.... has anyone driven both.....is the 0-62 just flattering the STiPPP or is it actually the faster car. Having sat in the Evo today, I was shocked by how poor and low rent the interior was.

Anyway after all that waffle... has anyone driven both cars? Is the StiV7PPP actually faster? Comments appreciated.

Yep I wasnt keen on the interior IMHO I was expecting something a bit better after all the hype. The driving position didnt feel right to me but after 4 years in scoobs I suppsoe thats understandable. A very capable car but not worth the 10K extra to get me out of my classic scoob. Due to the weight I would be surprised if both cars werent around the 5 second mark 0-60 TBH.

Totally agree that the interior was really low budget... wasn't expecting it to be so bad as all the reviews seem to give the subaru a hard time for this. Dealer offered me 22.5k against the 31.5k for the FQ300 (my car StiV7, 5000 miles). Sence (of a sort) overcame me and i ordered the PPP!

Ive driven both mate and the FQ wins hands down in my opinion. I seriously think those performance figures are taking the **** especially after ive dirven one (Evo). The dealer told me that 0-60 came on in around 4 - 4.5secs. Plus the in gear acceleration is mental. Oh yeh and the handle is better than the sti too. The sti wins for ride quality, fuel and is slightly cheaper to run. Both are cracking cars though.
