Just wonder if Imprezas are susceptable to rust in any particular areas, not that i intend to keep my car long enough to get to that stage, but then i said that about the Astra GTE 16v i had from new, ended up with that car for 10 years

Anybody noticed any rust on older cars yet?

MY 97 wagon,
100k on the clock

Both A pillar's especially around the aerial mount on the driver's side.

Other than the back box, no where else

Dave

Have a UK MY96 with 111k miles on the clock and it has small surface rust in stone chips on the roof strangely but everywhere else is fine.. I think compared to an Astra GTE you'll find they are rust free.. well almost.. which is surprizing considering the panels are very thin..

Astra's always seem to lose there rear arches..

I intend keeping my car as long as I can run it for too.
