You may find that the problem lies with the bulkhead panel itself. yes, it does sound like a dry bush, but dealer may have to strip out the pedal box and do some repairs to the bulkhead, as some of them split where it mounts.
Subaru are aware of this fault, so dealer should have no problems in sorting it while still in warranty.
Dont let them fob you off with a smear of grease on the pedal box bushes, it will shut it up somewhat, but not cure fully

My peugeot did it for weeks......then the cable snapped.
App they start fraying first then snap, the clicking noise is the fraying cable being dragged through the out sleeve of the cable.

Now then before I commit myself does your car have a clutch cable?,coz some are hydroilic and dont......

If yours doesnt have a cable......then its deffo your big ends and I would suggest you burn it

I am now thinking it may be the cable as Yoza Says.

What is the bit on the back of the block called where hte cable attaches to a hinge type mechanism with a rubber seal round the base?

Quote from dealer today :

With a Sport, on past history i would think that the problem you have is the clutch cover plate !
