Question

Well i got my splash guards today, pretty good quality, but sadly fitting instructions only in Japanese now i know pictures are self explanatory but reading the instructions are also usefull and often give you good tips.

There is a little bottle of glue i think, and a load of fixings this is why i am asking, i can't work out where the glue would before as there is also double sided sticky tape in places i am sure i could work out the fixings but it is the bottle of glue that is a bit puzzling

Any help would be very much appreciated

James,

If it's these type, my Dealer just stuck them on with the double-sided tape.

I've had them back off to have them resprayed once already, so defo no glue.

Hi Marky-san.

I got them mail order from Heritage Subaru with 10% discount for SIDC member £170.00 delivered not bad i thought, for good quality parts.

Hi Stefan,

That's how i thought they would go on to also with a screw through the end, but there is a bag full of fixings with each pair and a bottle of glue/something !!!!

When you had them colour coded did they take the paint o.k i ask cause i'm getting mine colour coded next week and when i saw these parts i thought they seemed a bit rubbery and may not take paint very well, it is going to a body shop so they know what they are doing.

One last thing are you pleased with the results do they work? or are they just cosmetic.

Thanks for your input.

James
