My honest opinion on this.

I personally don't think that posting a thread like this is in everyone's interest.
The inital thread was posted up in midlands - that is where the people involved are obviously happy to have the post put.

The thing that amazed me most was your request for pictures!!! Not everyone wishes to be reminded of their accidents, it certainly took me a while to look at the pictures of the 309 I rolled in 1996. I may be wrong in this case and will hold my hands up and apologise now if I prove to be incorrect in my assumption.

They may appreciate your concern, but then drawing MORE attention to the incident by posting up here may not be what they want.

I can understand the knee jerk reaction to this post Little Miss WRX but I think those posting are aware of the "bad taste issues" and know the people involved a lot more than perhaps you do.
I am sure they are posting after due consultation with said involved parties.
If this is not the case then the post is well out of order.
I am not trying to stir things up it just seems whenever there is a post like this someone wades in knowing none of the facts with the weight of the moral majority apparently on their shoulders.
There is no morbid curiosity here just information that fellow scoobnet members should IMHO be able to post freely.

I should think if they wanted full details about it to be splashed all over the net then they would have posted up in this forum initially!!!!!

I believe they were letting people in the area where they have meets know a little about what happened.

There is no need for a post like this - asking for pictures FFS!!!

wrxbob sold me some scooby things in the summer and he's a decent bloke but as he's in hospital i cant ask him what happened.
if a fellow scoobynet member is injured in a crash in a scooby then its bound to cause interest.
I dont for 1 min think wrxbob would object to this post as he asked his mate to post on scoobynet (have you read the thread link)

and as it appears he was a rear seat passenger it cant be constude as a go at his driving can it? nor the other passenger steve emery who started the link thread.

i know your a respected moderator little miss but dont go like the others and get 2far up your own !!!!!

PS chris B the {any pics} bit which i edited out was a personal joke between me and bob. when i was buying from him he emailed me dozens & dozens of fotos which turned into a joke ok?
