Telemetry - Pluging Laptop into your Scooby?
If you are running some form of aftermarket advanced ECU (such as Link, Pectel, MoTec etc) they usually come with PC software to allow live mapping.
The std scooby ECU can be accessed by one of 2 means.
1. Subaru Select Monitor - these are pretty hard to come by and quite expensive. On earlier versions you need the correct cartridge for the year of car etc.
2. ECU Tec Delta Dash - Steve Done (and a few others) spent a long time understanding the non-standard OBDII-hybrid information that comes over the subaru diagnostics port. This product allows you to perform EXACTLY the same tasks as the Subaru select monitor amongst other things.

Sorry about that Ozzy,
As I don't own a scooby anymore I don't often venture into the technical forums - more interested in Hayabusa tuning now (for the westie).
Its great that somebody is trying this. This is how I orginally got interested in ECU logging. I don't have PCB skills but I did begin to understand the protocol and non-scoob OBD-II.
Keep up the good work whoevers involved.
I can really appreciate whats involved in what you chaps are up to. Its good fun.
regards
Ian.
