What's the problem with a cracked front disc? - just get some fitted yourself - it is not difficult and if that is the only problem should not take a few days!
How did the disc crack?

As its a lease car its upto the dealer and lease company to sort out. There was no heavy braking for a few days before hand and seemed to happen between parking the car up in the evening and the first run in the morning. The front disks were a little crazed at the last service, but the dealer choose to leave changing them until the next service!
I now have a Yellow Hyundai Coupe to use until its returned. No more waving to passing scoobies for the time being

I had a cracked front disc recently - some "spirited" driving followed by driving through standing water caused it to heat up & cool down very quickly - & cracked it.
I got a set of front discs & pads from the "For Sale" section (£80) & my mate fitted them (took him 40mins tops) for free !
These were standard 4pots.
