I have a new (3 month old)WRX with 6K miles on the clock and have been reasonably ;-)gentle with her. I have the following questions:
1) Occasionally the car will pop itself out of first gear if you are crawling in traffic for example, and doesn't seem to occur if you are using the accelerator. Has anyone else experienced this????
2) The car is totally unmodded at the moment, assuming a budget of 1500 quid what do you recommend?

The car should not pop out of first. Return to dealer.

On the second q, do you wan't to keep the warranty?
If yes, then PPP. £1600 I think.
If no, Link, ScoobySport exhaust, not sure of cost for this tho.

Welcome new one....

As per Sith, depends on warranty. Most dealers are ok with the exhaust. But with £1500, you could also upgrade the brakes, and air filter.

1, Scoobysport exhaust.
2, Pagid Discs + DS 2000 pads.
3, ITG Filter or Induction kit. If one is out yet.
