I went down the wing from inside the car (leave door open) and moved the catches using a modified BBQ fork!!!

They are held in place on the wings by a plastic hinge on the repeater itself.
Just pull with your finger outwards the larger end of the repeater and it will come straight out.
Its much easier than it looks

Ok, just done this to fit my clear repeaters.

You need to lift the repeater out from the front slightly using a flat end (but making sure that it doesn't damage the paint). There is a clip at the back (white) that needs to be pushed in slightly. The repeater will then pop out.

I was surprised at the amount of pressure needed to do this, after all on a Vauxhall the repeaters just fall off in a light wind!!

Be carefull! You don't need to use any tools or excessive force.

To remove the repeaters "just" slide them forwards using your fingers. This will compress the small clip described by Laurence, and then you can just ease the back of the repeater out from the wing. If you have to pull hard, it means that you haven't slid it forwards enough.

Thanks to Ade for this advice when he sold me a set of clear repeaters. I was sceptical when I read it, but it really worked.

Thanks guys - if I hadn't got this advice I would have probably ripped off the front wheel arch covers to get to them & done some damage !

Thanks again all - top advice.
