Can anyone loan me a trailer for a few hours? I need to get the Scoob from Woking to Newbury for a new gearbox. The AA will only take me 10 miles as the car is at my home address. Well, I lie, they will but they want £90 and I can’t afford to pay that on top of the work as I’m not working at the mo.
I’ve been off the road for a couple of weeks now – please help end my cold turkey!!!

I needed one last weekend and asked but came to nothing...
Ended up hiring one.. cost was 30pound for the day and 20pound per day there after..
This was in Birmingham as it was nearer the car I was towing..
The nearest place I know that does it nearer to you is Trident Trailers which are in Kent... there website is http://www.car-trailers.com/ and they want 35pound a day.
There might be others nearer you but Trident are a fairly big organisation so you know you are getting a decent trailer etc..
They have a 1800kgs tilt bed one listed which is the same as I hired from Gordon Love Trailers is Birmingham and it is flipping huge but I would recommend having that one as the Scoob would be under its weight limit by a fair bit and therefore tow perfectly okay.
I'll find out my thread I posted the other week as I got loads of good advice to do with strapping the car on.. etc..

Moomin - I used to have a jetski and Indespension in Redhill (near East Surrey Hospital) who I bought my trailer from, rent them out. I have a towbar on my Company car (not my scooby) so can help in that respect if you need it. I work in Woking.
