Dibble is out with an airplane filming and prosecuting like mad. They also have a car parked up on a hill on hang-glider lane with a laser gun.

I have just picked up 8 points and £380 fine for some enthusiastic driving.

 

Hmmm. Nightmare. I moved from Manchester and lived in Buxton for a year before I moved to London 7 years ago. Nothing down South I've found to compare, not yet anyway. The dibble is in force largely because of biker's accidents and deaths. There was a big article about the Cat and Fiddle in the Observer a month or so ago saying they were imposing a 50 limit. Bloody shame, because even at 60 it's a challenge - especially the off camber dip to the left - going towards Buxton, I remember it fondly...

Cat 'n' Fiddle hasn't been the best place for a blast for a quite a while now.

A challenging road but plenty more to found elsewhere that are much quieter

Cat & Fiddle, Axe Edge and any other decent road on that side of the peak is out of bounds for having fun

Staffs CC reckon that 'speed', not the abismal road surface, is the cause of ALL the problems

When will they ever learn!

Just come on the Derbyshire meet, better roads, less traffic and safer driving
