From what my dealer told me ,the price is going to be similar to the current Prodrive version(£27k) because there isn't going to be a standard version, just the version with the big wing.So obviously a Prodrive version will appear later in 2003/4 with extra performance and extra cost me thinks.
At least if you get the current version your thinking of it'll be a unique version.
Cheers.
Gary

Anybody know if the new STi out in February is gonna be cheaper than the current model? Let me know, cos I'm about to part with £23,000 for a six-month-old STi Prodrive and want to know if it's worth waiting for the newbie Scooby.

AFAIK there will only be one STi model, and the concencus amonst dealers and owners is that it will be about the same price as the current 'Prodrive Style' model.

I don't believe Prodrive are planning any specials, but there should be a PPP available for it in the summer, which would be another £2k.

If the normal WRX is expected to be around £19,995 (rumours) then do you really think the STI will be £7000 more!?

I would hope it is more like £25,000, somewhere between the price of the two bugeye STi's.

Well here's hoping anyway!

I'm going to the motorshow today to see the STi which I have ordered without seeing! If it looks pants in the metal then I will most probably get a bugeye STi
