Parking in Lion Green road car park in Coulsdon, 2 out of the 250 spaces have a lovely metal bar, about 6 inches high, the length of the bay, so what bay do I park in ?
You guessed it, the noise was sickening, I sat there thinking I must of done the whole front end, when I composed myself enough I got out to see part of my splitter on the floor, with the rest badly damaged. Luckily ( ! ) the bumper ect is ok.
Spoke to the car park MGR who said that basically its tough ****.
But send in photo's ect so we can have a good laugh at you.
Absolutely gutted

I'm assuming that as it's tough **** if you damage your car on their car park, it must work the other way, ie. if you damage their car park with your car. This may not fix your car, but get a sledge hammer and alter the appearance of naughty piece of metal. Sure to relieve some stress. Watch out for CCTV though!!

Thanks guys, nice to get some responces other than :
' its only a car ' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
' these things happen ' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know the above is true but people just dont understand
Scooby Doo, Go on m8, I'll wave back
Dan, great minds.....
Thanks again guys, slowly starting to communicate with words rather than grunts at work.

These things happen...
I wish they didn't...
My girlfriend has done this twice to my car now. The first time, I managed to glue and fill the splitter. The second time left it in 3 pieces, hanging off the car
The car park attendant gave her a filthy look!
Hope you get it fixed. Mine is still on order.

It was on the car when I bought it. I was told where it came from, but I don't remember now.
I had a go at braking it as well, but only really scratched the underside, and put a crack around the fog lamp recess.
nkh (using her login name ) hasn't really driven the car since. She's a little upset about the whole thing. It's a shame, as she used to love driving the car.
Are you planning on getting a replacement from Jamie W? I may try to find a non fibreglass one so it is less brittle. (although I expect the cost will put me off...)

Hi DNB,
My one is made of plastic, but it still broke up
To be fair it did get a right **** on the bar.
I did get mine from JW, its a 3 peice, it was £200 odd in a group buy and £75 to paint and fit, and my companion wondered why I was spitting blood !
Its a shame about your missus not driving the car as a result of the incident, no more driving to the pub and getting her to fery you home
Regards,
Andyp
