Well as far as the "Turbo thrust bearing broke" its perfectly true Mr RUSSP! Dealer has confirmed this and I would think they would know if a turbo was gone or not!!!!

Ne'st ce Pas?

Top article about last months "thrash" in Banzai Mag but i'm sitting here absolutely P1ssin9 myself laughing at the excuses

"My Big ICE slowed me down...!"

"I need a new clutch!"

"NEver done it before"

"Changing into 3rd runined my times!"

"Designed to handle"

"Turbo thrust bearing broke"

"More work needed on the launch control (!)"

Etc

Etc!

Even Craig was doubtful before recording 3.7secs to 60mph with the classic "It won't be very quick coz its not up to full boost yet )

Great day out tho - the cars look awesome! And ALL the times were feckin impressive!

Dealers? What do they do then?

Have you seen the mag yet? Its a pretty good article.

They were ever so impressed with "Colin" Hardmans 3.7 sec 0-60!

Cheers Si, I was very nervous of breaking the car so didn't go nasty on the clutch or gears ! (Just for Russ because I didn't give an excuse in the mag !!).

Web Guru, Hope they have fixed it for you !!

And as to the "I need a new clutch!" excuse ... you should of been there to smell it , but Paul's car was fast and I am sure it would of given Craig a bit of challenge.

Are we saying that the recent shootout is in Banzai mag - I thought it was going in Revs?
or something like that

So its out now in Banzai??

Shame no one sells that anymore..... not even WHSmiths seem to bother with this now, well not in Bristol..

What a feature, very good. Nice to see Colin on the front cover nice times Craig.

Yep, me clutch gave up, hence no times for me. Must get around to changing it, especially now the front mount is on order.

Why is there only one wing mirror on the car?
(Craigs Sti Front cover)

Inside the car has both.

Just bought the mag, impressive times especially Mr Hardman, but overall the thing that impressed me most (well kind of) was the times for the Forrester. I had no idea they were that quick.

You did a bit didn't you! That thing must go round corners a bit well looking at those times!

And you get the track to yourself when it starts raining and the Caterhams all go home!

Russ

If you look at the bhp/tonne numbers, you needed at least 100 per tonne to get ahead of me and most of the quickest stuff was over twice my bhp/t rating.

Also... my times were my average, but the Noble only did 1 lap in the 1.22s. The rest were mid 1.24s or... less than a second quicker than my car

If only it had rained in the afternoon

Pete,

Out of interest, what are the Michelins like in the rain and how much of the laptime do you attribute to them?

Well thanx for the Forester comments.
It will go faster but it had a full tank of SUL on board with no booster and had work gear in the boot and blah blah blah ...........
Still, I hope it can reach 60 in 6 secs one day.
Shame about the 0-100 time, but as it is a brick on wheels I suppose I have to lump it.
