anyone got valve fitting instructions on which pipe is which?

Hi not sure what MY you have but im pretty sure the D/V fits on to the pipe leading from the intercooler, which leaves the other large diameter pipe to be blocked off with the bung.

Mine was a MY UK97 and thats the way i had it fitted.
My mate had his fitted the oppisite way round, and although i never drove his, he reckons it never made much of a difference.
It sounded quite bad, but not bad enough because it was on for 6 months for that way.

Thanks gang can i just confirm that i connect the bottom end of the dump valve onto the intercooler pipe or is it the short one that goes into the intake?

You want to a attach it to the pipe from the intercooler not the intake.... there is no positive boost in the intake, but there is in the intercooler...
