I posted this on another thread, but i guess it is a bit rude to hi-jack someone elses question i was wondering if anyone new if fitting induction kits would void the Subaru warranty, i have fitted them in the past to other modded cars and swear by K+n. Also does anyone know what you can do to the engine and keep Subaru happy.
Thanks for your help guys and of course gals,
James

Dunno about warrenty & u may get more in the drivetrain forum but yer car may get MAF (mass air flow) sensor problems with a full monty kit. As this car has, at least i believe, a liquid un which is less friendly 2 such goodies although even older cars without such sensors such as me MY97 r still prone 2 MAF failure i believe so i opted 4 the ITG performance panel filter rather than the cone thing. Maybe my paranoi & i wood luv the sucky sound but i'm Mr Cautious (just my humble opinion from a few bad threads i have red in past but i no many have these without trubble but again as i said dunno about warrenty??)
