Motorshow - RS Focus
Congratulations to the **** who stole the aluminium gearknob from the RS Focus at the motorshow today.
You clearly are an enthusiast, and your actions forced the Ford people to lock the car up. You must be very proud of yourself, you ****.
Grrrr! This kinda disrespect for other peoples property really pi$$es me off. Sadly it's all to prevalent these days

Its amazing what gets nicked off the cars at a show like that. They often have the batteries removed as it has been known for the batteries to walk. I wouldn't mind betting that over the years a few cars have been nicked off stands too.

not on the twisties it isnt.
The UK has turned into a free for all scumfest. I was talking to a friend just 2 days ago about him displaying a car at the autosport show at the NEC and i told him not to because of this problem. It's imposible to keep hold of what you own.
OK, it's FORD and they can swallow the cost, but that isnt the point is it!
Pathetic.

It looks very nice on my mantle piece. I didn't think the ham-fisted apes that drive Fords, would notice

Oh and while I was in Warwick Castle dungeon today, some **** phoned me to say they'd got a new scooby. The phone ringing frightened the cr@p out of me and everyone else that was down there

Apparently they have this problem in New York too. If you don't get to the show within the first couple of hours the cars look as though they belong in the breakers yard. Least it's not that bad over here...yet.
I remember, 5 years ago I think, was at the Autosport Motorshow at the NEC and was trying get close to the Benetton F1 car, when I got close enough to touch the rear wing (bearing in mind it was roped off all the way round), security man comes and pulls my arm away.
I asked him what the big heavy hand was in aid of, as other F1 manufacturers didn't have any problems with people getting up close, to which he replied, 'Ferarri had the a steering wheel stolen the day before and they weren't taking any chances'. I think they were costing Ferarri around 20 grand to produce back then, obviously a lot more now.....
Spoils it for everyone else I think, so chop their bl00dy hands off if you catch em doing it, that's what I say....
