Its time for new tyres on the Scoob! My local dealer has offered to sell me four original Subaru 16" Gold wheels with P-zero tyres for £500, all new. Should I go for it or will me red scoob look a bit gay whith gold wheels on?

I have seen both wagons and normal ones with these and think that they go well together.
Nice contrast.

Red ones do sometimes look a bit gay with gold wheels, but who cares. Just shove em on and see what happens..

It's how it's drives that count's after all you don't get to see the wheels when you drive it do ya! :-)

who cares if my car looks gay? I do! By the same token when I'm driving it I wouldn't be able to see w@nker written down the side but it's hardly the look that you would want to go for is it.

I was also thinking 4 new alloys and tyres for £500 can't go wrong even if they are pink!

For £500 I wouldn't care if they were gay!

My care looks ****e too, but atleast I've got a fit woman in the passenger seat!

So they's no way of looking gay then is there!

Chaz - I've got a Red Mica UK MY00 and bought the 16" Subaru gold wheels a few months back. Looks v good in my opinion - but then I would say that wouldn't I.....

Crap piccy I'm afraid - I'll do a better one tomorrow if you want:

Buy 'em - you can't go wrong at little more than the cost of the tyres. Gold does look OK-ish on red.

I've had three set of these wheels / tyres. The tyres on mine have always been Bridgestone RE010s and I'd be suprised if they are P Zeros if they have come direct from Subaru. I've sold two sets with worn tyres for £250 a set so its a cheap way of buying tyres.

Cheers,

Ian.
