Hi,

Ive noticed that when I put the air vents on cold, I get a sort of burning type smell. Cant quite put my finger on what it smells like though.

Is it condensation on the Air con heat exchange and/or pipes? Is it likley to be air con related, as seems worse when Ive been using it, but goes when its turned on.

The car has only done 4k miles.

 

We get the same smell - driving us crazy.

If anyone can help/knows what this is, please...

Mine does same when starting car from overnight stop. Get a smell like a bonfire.

In for service recently and dealer didn't know what it was and had never heard of before.

Still searching for answer.
