Group buys

Richard,
I have just emailed the webbie too..
I wouldn't have troubled him had I read you reply in time..
Not to worry..
I suspect due to freedom of speach etc.. it will be okay but then it might be better to do them through the shop?

LOL@ Jas..
Had a reply to my email to webbie and have agreed to not go ahead with the group buy..
Scoobyshop will be putting a proper group buy method soon.. so going to wait until then.

I know more details than that mate..
I cannot see that being the case, nothing in the shop is not available to non-plus members.. and I don't think Webbie would want that to be the case either.
There is more chance of a decent price if organised offically through the shop I would expect anyway...
All IMHO... as I am only going on what I think.

Hi All
Just to clarify, you will NOT have to be a member of anything in order to participate in a group buy..
The group buy starter will have to be a scoobynetplus member, and the vendor will have to be a vendor with a BronzeVendor account or higher, but anyone will be able to buy...
we will also include that the plus members must get an even bigger discount than the group buy price.
There really are a million complex reasons behind this, but I promise (just in-case anyone reads anything negative in to the above) the reasons have the scoobynet community in mind as the main reasons for this.
I'll explain more when it launches, so please bare with us.
All the best
Simon
