Congratulations Pete! My first baby is due next Tuesday and I've been on a similar "High" for 9 months. I've started to check out Recaro babyseats for when it's a bit bigger already!

 

My first is due in Feb.

Pete, most Subaru dealers carry brochures and pricing on the Recaro baby seat - they even have one that matches my P1.

So am I, but I am having twins!! so I think the recaros are out of the question at £400 each!

 

I remember the feeling well, even though it was a long time ago. Lets just pray for the world you`re bringing him/her into!
Tip - Be there at the birth mate, you`ll never be closer to your wife than then.

Due feb 02 so maybe a new STi wagon on the cards to replace the Terzo! Need room for all the S*** in the car!!

Congratulations. I'm going to be a dad too at the end of the year, due date 28th Dec.

Had to sell my MR2 and buy a MY97, another bonus.

Go for leather seats, I've heard that they're easier to wipe the sick off!

 

As a new dad myself (3 1/2 weeks old now) I can garuentee that if you are there at the birth it *will* be the most amazing moment in your life

When was yours? I became a dad (again) to a little girl on 15/8. Born in our back room at home as we didn't make it to hospital

She was due on 1/9 but arrived two weeks early on 19/8! She was born at 00:23, so only just made it into the Sunday. It was an amazing day (and night).

Was anyone else with you when she was born?

 

Congratulations to Pete and all the other prospective and new dads. Can I offer some advice. Go and sleep. Video yourself sleeping and keep a dairy of how much you actually do sleep. You can use this to console yourself in the coming months. On the bright side, every moment from now onwards is something to remember and enjoy.
