Guys

Do any of you know of an upgrade that I can get for my STi Prodrive. Subaru don't do one but I think my lights are crap, had gas discharge ones on my P1 but not available for the Sti.

Anyone know where to get these from....

Cheers

Phil

I would think the prodrive ones could be made to fit. I've got them on non PD STi. IIRC Scoobysport supply a kit.

Err....they ARE available from Subaru - do you mean the ones I have fitted here?

Using genuine Subaru/Prodrive parts....

Be warned, it is not cheap to do - £1150 for the lamps and covers - and if you have a blue black mica car, I nicked the last set of covers in the UK (just before Prodrive were going to put them on their demonstrator - sorry Mike )

BTW, if you are put off by the price, I am thinking about having some high quality replica covers with a hole in for the lamps made up at considerably less than the genuine Subaru £349.95 price.

Not put off with the price, just need to get around to chasing things up. I normally call someone, book my car in, turn up, pay and drive away. However this one seems to need a little more thought putting into it.

Seen as though I don't even own a drill or a set of screw drivers anything technical to do with cars isn't me, so all help appreciated. I would be interested in knwoing more about having some made...cheers

I also forgot to ask whether it is worth upgrading the headlight bulbs as well?

If so which ones do I need for the sidelights and main headlights, and where to buy would help as well.

Cheers

It isn't a job for someone with no tools. Book it in, pay the money, drive it away

Re bulbs, running Philips Vision Plus in dip (£18 pr) - H1 bulb - and Philips Rallye 100w in main (£12.95 each) - HB3 9005 bulb - in both our STi7's and they are a worthwhile fit - both from www.powerbulbs.com

HID kit for dip on order for mine - I can never have too much light at night

I dont think I would bother with spots just better dip and main beam but I too am a complete **** when it comes to fitting anything.
What it needs is for somebody to supply and fit say an HID upgrade kit.
