I've recently had some ***** trying to rip my WR spoiler off and now i've had the clear side repeaters nicked . They cut the wires too so i've got to source the bulb holders (and wire) too. I believe that this was probably done by the same people..... and that 'cos they didn't nick the front ones they must have a pre MY99 front bumper (i.e the MY99-00 ones won't fit). Im selling the front ones now (see for sale forum) and going back to orange.... maybe they won't nick these!

If you have an L reg white jap import (little wing), blacked out windows, big exhaust etc and frequent the Stretford area a bit i would like to have a 'chat'.... especially if i see you again and you've suddenly got clear side repeaters .

Tony.

Makes you mad but if it is that car and it suddenly gets 4 flat tyres that are not repairable... im not a vengeful person, honest!

I would never ever think of doing anything nasty to this guys car.... never ever .

I really do hope that i see this guy again and he has just got clear side repeaters (he obviously won't have the fronts 'cos he can't afford it.... unless he's nicked them too ). If i get his reg plate i can find out his name and address (won't say how tho . We'll see how big these ****** are when face to face with someone....... thats pissed off beyond all belief!!

Wink

Well say another 12 or so subaru drivers turned up at the same time when you confront him (if hes found to be the culprit ) it may have an impact about the spirit subaru owners have (and we can take back anything that doesnt belong to him after he confesses )

No i didn't see them HKS.... however my neighbour saw the lads that tried to rip my WR wing off and they match that description. It may just be a coincidence too but i saw the white Subaru drive down my road on Sunday and the indicators were gone by Monday. Next time i see it (or if anybody else sees a white jap import L reg, black out windows, smallest wing, and i think a HKS hiper then you can do this too) get the reg number then i can go and have a quite word in his ear .

Tony, when i find this guy i'll let people know so we can as a community go and have a word. It just shows that as Subarus become more readily avaliable (i.e cheap) then scum like this buy the cars, can't afford to service them, can't afford the parts so nick them off other peoples and probably don't even have them insured!!!!!

Tony,
I have some OEM orange ones from my MY97 that are just sitting in my cupboard if you are interested. No wires unfortunately though. Pity cos you could have used the wires to string the ******* up.

Cheers Stephen.... got some orange lenses to go on tho. Just ordered the bulb holders from Subaru... £17 for the two but i'll have to bodge the wiring to them as they just have the bare contections.

If i do ever catch up with these ****ers for the sake of them spending £25 on a new set of clear inicators they'll wish they'd never set eyes on my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I'd never see the day when another Subaru owner would do a fellow brethren. We can't let this continue. My katana is ready if you know what I mean.

Why cut the wiring? You can unclip a side repeater and have the bulb out in 10/15 seconds tops.

sorry to hear that, just got back from hugging my invisible legacy...

Main thing to worry about with the residents here is them falling infront of you with their zimmer frames.

Cheers Guys.... just want to get my hands on the thieving *******s. For god sakes the things are only £25 new.... are they that bloody desperate or just plain *****?

Makes me wonder whether i want to own something that others feel the need to damage.... the only good thing is i move soon and the car will then get tucked away in a garage overnight .

Tony.

P.S thanks for the offer but i've got some orange lenses just waiting for the bulb holders.... which incidentally i got cheaper new from a main dealer than i was quoted used from three Subaru breakers?????
