all tips appreciated....need more power...the car is going to graham goodes this week...will i get more power by cranking the boost up to about 30 psi(will it blow up??)

You could whack up the boost to 30psi and you would have a load of power a while. Then either your pistions would fly through the bonnet, you would blow the head gasket or just have a total piston melt down. Either way, not good. 18psi is good for top mounted intercoolers and 20psi is ok for a front mounted one.

What you probably want to do is go the exhaust and air filter route first to improve the breathing of you engine. Get a full decat system with a down pipe as well as an induction kit or just the filter element. You should see and feel a noticalbe difference.
