I saw the pictures on CNN -- it didn't look anywhere near big enough to be the Americans.

This was happening on the civil war front line. It has been happening every night for ages. Apparently a munitions dump was blown up and some over zealous reported got the wrong end of the stick. You can be sure that when America does hit back they will have 'Cruise cams' attached to the missiles
