Just driven an E46 M3 Cabriolet
A contractor who does lots of work for the firm where I am has recently taken delivery of a 6 month old M3.
He gave me about half hour run in it this afternoon. Felt brilliant, sounded fantastic. Plenty of toys like sat nav/TV etc.
In a very dark blue/black colour with red leather. What a difference to the response with the Sport button on!!
He let me thrash it up the local dual carriage way up to about 110mph. Sounded the bo11ox.
I want one. My scooby feels just as fast but.... that interior, those looks....
Anyone else out there got one of these?

I had a go in my work mate M3 a couple of weeks ago, Yes it is be puppy's back wheels, but in the wet I felt unstable with the light front end and the feeling of sliding round corners. For pure power and watching peoples heads turn when you drive past.. you can't do that in a BMW...
Hi just got one of these in Silver/blk hood. Its good fun, my best bit is the sequential box - did the one you tried have that?
I agree it is less stable than the scoob in the wet, but the TC/DSC catches you, after giving you a fright first - it comes in later than on the 330 etc so it allows a little bit of slip
