Subaru in "First car manufacturer ever to release face-lifted model" shocker?

Subaru in "First car manufacturer to reduce price of old model to clear stock before new model arrives" shocker?

Subaru in "Most people only ever by one model once, so the most important thing is going after new business" shocker?

Subaru in "Yep, ok, we messed up, but we fixed as quickly as possible and you're still not happy" shocker?

Nice one DaveRB - I'm an new MY02 owner but to be honest I agree that's just life ----> and do any of really buy these cars as some sort of fantasy investment? This minute you drive it out of the showroom blah blah blah, only with a Jap Performance car it's always going to be worse.

Let's just forget and enjoy the cars we currently drive!!

he he he... I leased, and got a list price of 20k and fab interest rates, and all from a dealer.

It really is life, I'm afraid... just like buying a two bottles of wine from a supermarket only to find the same bottle bogof the next week.

Subaru UK probably got their Buy price reduced. Would people prefer to see them leave the price the same and pocket the profit ??

No rip off, just normal business practice.

Cant help but notice that some dealers still have their demonstrators up for sale between £18k and £20k.
In fairness, I wonder how much dealers will eventually loose on the re-sale price of their demonstrators. Then again, they'll probably put them in storage until the offer is over, then roll them back out again
