Question

About the MIRA course, do I need to have my own car to go for it?

As u can guess by now, I have no car of my own as I am a student.

Sorry guys, I'm new here.

Adding here, I'm referring to Don Palmer's driving development course and I'm interested in going for that course to improve my driving skills. I have noted the advertisement in EVO magazine and read the posts in here. Like u guys here, I'm a car fanatic!!!!

Tell me what options do I have, as regards to my query. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Hi rofy

You do need to take a car along, however, I know some people have hired cars for the day. I'm not sure what this means in terms of insurance, etc, but may be worth looking into..

The only problem is that it increases the cost for the day.

Best thing to do is email Don Palmer on don@drivingdevelopment.co.uk

cheers

Simon

Another question, can I just get a FWD car as FWD cars are easy to get, or do I really have to get a RWD?

Depending on what your age is, give Budget car rentals a call. They have the Mazda MX5 1.8s. It costs £69 a day or something like £130.00 for weekend. It is an amazingly fun car to drive, loves powersliding in the wet and has the sweetest gearbox i have ever used. RWD also, so good for MIRA.
