ScoobyShop is LIVE!!!
Saw the MY03 STis on there and thought "That'll be great with a 5% discount", but actually the discount is only 250 quid
I thought the deal was that to become a vendor you had to offer a minimum 5% discount to ScoobynetPlus members?
PS: In what order are the products sorted within a category? Sort by price/vendor/alphabetical would be useful -- at the moment it seems they are unsorted.

Si, this isn't criticsm, more feedback, but the "Current savings available: £8401.89[/i]" is very misleading - surely you'd have to spend several tens (hundreds) of thousands of pounds to save that much?
Other than that, though, the site looks good.

Well done, guys - looks good.

Carl - I think the prices are inc VAT
MarkO - yeah - you've gotta buy 1 of everything!
SDB / Shaun - When filling the registration form for SNPlus, I omitted one particular field ("County" in my address) and after clicking I was told to go back and fill this field.
Unfortunately I was presented with a completely blank form - which was a little irritating.
Is it something to do with my set-up or just the way it is?

Not really, which is why I clicked on the product in the first place
Regarding the VAT, the Scoobysport products (for example) seem to be inc VAT (although it doesn't actually say so), but the SonicWall stuff is ex VAT. Might be worthwhile making it consistent, and perhaps having a button so the user can select inc VAT or ex VAT prices?

Out of interest, if I pay my £25, buy something from Scoobyshop, and then find it cheaper elsewhere on the 'net, what happens? Is there any cross-vendor price-match policy, or can I expect a refund of my £25 membership fee?
Hi All
Stunned at how quick the Plus memberships are coming in!
The tickets go to the first person that signs up and sends in their cheque.
If 20 cheques arive tomorrow (let's say) the first one of those 20 cheques that registered on the site will win them
The blank form. Usually the fields are still filled in when you retrn. Sorry about that, I'll have to add something to store the results so you don't have to go back. Will work on that at some point over the next couple of weeks. Thank you for the feedback.
MarkO
I think most people would realise that they are not going to save £8K unless they are spending a fortune to begin with. It is more there so people can see that there is a whole hill of products in there all of which offer savings, and so you can see the value increasing as more vendors add products and services.
All the best

For the record ScoobyShop opened at exactly 10:39 GMT Monday 21, 2002
MarkO
If the individual vendors want to price match, they can reduce their discounted price offered to ScoobyNetPlus members.

No muppeting allowed in this thread
You would'nt believe what I had to do, to bribe Simon to let me take those corners outside of the muppet forum
Actually the about the launch thread needed to be kept near the top until this one took its place.
Seriously, this thread is for comments about scoobyshop.
personally I think it's superb. The amount of hard work Simon, Shaun put in really shows.

I'm sure that the other vendors won't mind me saying a big public thank you to Simon and Shaun for all their hard work in re-launching the Scoobyshop website today, also thanks is due to Dreamweaver/Simon of Kreature Design who I believe is responsible for the website design.

Nice one! But do you really want us all to take our clothes off? At the foot of the "membership" page where there may be a delay with the cards and key rings, we're asked "Please BARE with us."
Lady Godiva in an open top Scooby driving the streets of Coventry... now there's a thought to conjure with!
Me with my middle age spread hanging out the door... I don't think we want to go there.
