Hi Steve
Glad you got it sorted out m8

With the probs you have had I thought it wise to have a garage fit my de-cat(UP,DP,centre) that has loads of experience with these.

So guess where I'm booked in next Tuesday?

Yep, at Scoobysport

At least I know it will fitted right first time !

Cheers

Bob

I believe they replaced the EGT sensor and fitted a new set of spark plugs (re-gapped with a slightly smaller gap than standard)
Steve phoned me to say its going great now!

Question

So if a de-cat is installed, must the spark plugs be adjusted or is it just because your car has a PPP ECU?

Steve your dislexia strikes again!

Think you meant Knowlesy

Unless I got it wrong? But thats how Pete spells it!

In around 96hrs my de-cat should be on

Bob

PS. Still available Monday nite if you wanna meet up!

Thanks Steve, glad we could help.

Looking forward to meeting you Bob.

SteveS, we reduce the gap slightly on cars with a PPP due to the higher boost that they run.

Yeah Steve, not too much beer Monday night, I want to get the car into Scoobysport 1st thing Tuesday morning.
The exhaust shouldn't be too warm, I'm staying in the Travel inn just around the corner.

Ring me (or me ring you) at the weekend
