More newbie questions I'm afraid.....

I'm still in the process of trying to but my 1st Scooby. I was only looking at UK Turbos cos of my price limit (£10K) but have seen a nice looking P-reg WRX, with only 19K miles on it, for sale in a local "high performance" car dealership.

This car looks great (from the ad/web site) and I'm wondering if there's anything I should be worried about and if I should even consider WRXs/other imports (I'm no mechanic, but would get the car serviced properly).....

Sounds clocked to me...

£10k should buy a 99, infact there is a nov 98 MY99 in private sales @ £9999 at the moment.

Wink

SIDC faq for specifics of models but for that money i'd wana much newer car & if yer thinking import aint guan b a problem on the insurance etc then i'd wana STi but if that is guna cause trubble then UK is way 2 go but b prepared 4 MODS same with rex i suppose
But high milers dont neec 2 b avoided like plague as if it's been serviced regular then reliability is spot on. I got a MY97 with nearly 70k on clock about a year ago for just under 10k so tiz all good & have no regrets as a older model with few miles wood have had no bonuses so that's me forts
Si
