Red face

Ok, So I had my last impreza for 14 months, and never had to replace a damaged fog light once.

Ive had my new one a week and already have a small bullet hole in the passenger side fog light. And what a lovely condensation effect I now have

It looks to me like the glass is held on with metal clips, and was hoping to get away with just replacing the glass. I spoke to the local dealer today, and they wants to sell me the whole light for £50 plus vat !!!

Sureley this is maddnes; repa light which is new just for the sake of the glass lens.

Does anyone know where I can order a replacement lens, or a whole light cheaper, or failing that does anyone have a spare lying round to sell me?

Sadly i can't help but look on the bright side you could be running with PIAA.

Most manufacturers only do complete unit spares now (probably a cost / ease of replacement thing). On bmw's the fog lights are glass but the headlights are plastic(to help prevent stone chips) how stupid is that when the fogs are low in the bumper???
