Youngest Scooby Driver on this BBS?
#1
I was 23 when I got my first scoob, had an FTO before that.
Can't remember who I'm insured with. The FTO was difficult to insure, seeing as I had no, no claims discount and 2 claims made within the past 2 years. In fact think I had the scoob with zero no claims as well!!
A friend of mine had an RB5 WR when he was 21 or 22. Follow up witha MY96 WRX.

Ok,
Who is the youngest Scooby drive on this BBS?
I am due to pick up my MY95 WRX Saturday AM and can't wait! I am 21.
Could the younger members of the BBS post up the numbers of the insurance companies that they use. I would be especially keen to see the numbers for ins comps that insure young drivers on import cars such as the WRX.
Cheers
Paul

bennetm,
Are you serious?
Did you really think that?
lol, I thought everyone could see the immaturity of my posts.
Incidentally, my last post was referring to when i got the car, I am now 23, will be 24 in december, and have just renewed with privilege at £1183 with protected no claims bonus, and one or two mods

Vans,
All my own money as well (not spooned!)
Currently paying £2,800 fully comp £400 excess. Was on 11 points and 1 yrs no claims when got it. Now got less points and more no claims - should come down at renewal!!! (that's WR'd and straight through exhaust!)

Youngest scooby driver or owner???
Been driving Dad's scoob since I passed my test at 17 - 18 now. Not actually sure about the insurance - company car so guess it's a fleet policy to cover any driver. Might be quite interesting to find out a cost though.....

Drove my mum's scoob on my 17th birthday (April this year). Company car = free insurance (but the excess rises from £100 to £250). Will have my own '95 Impreza 1.6GL AWD (stop laughing at my 88bhp!) as soon as I pass my test - damn the 2 month waiting list!

Jeez! 22b at 21 years old?
What was it me dad said? "You'll never get rich working for someone else son, you need to run your own company."
Cheers dad. So with two companies I'll be really really minted then?
r (could only afford first scoob at 28)

I like threads like this that make me feel old 24 now, bought the MY00 UK spec new last June when I was 23, ordered when I was 22, but took a while to turn up. My insurance is around £1200, with a four figure excess with full no claims and no points, that'll teach me for living in a high risk area
