HOLY ****...! That's brutal
Does anyone know if this guy is a scoobynetter?
Regardless, that's really sickening to hear of and hope he recovers physically and mentally from this real soon.

It unfortunately looks like the UK is following the same path as locally:
- Steal parked cars.
- Hijack cars at intersections/traffic lights/stop streets.
- Hijack cars on arrival home/departing for work.
- Shoot driver/passenger in hijack attempt whether or not the victim resists.
- Keep hi-jack victim in the car in case the car is fitted with an anti-hijack device. Optionally kill them later. Else release them (if you're lucky).

Carjack murderer jailed on wednesday, car jack victim shot on Thursday! what are the chances that the police and government might start to take it a bit more serious now ???????????

18 years would be fine if he actually served 18 years, the tw@t would probably be out after 18 months
I thought all this carry on with car jackings and Imprezas had calmed down

man this makes me mad with people like this, the guy only wanted to buy a car with his hard earned cash and they shoot him for it so they can earn some cash, complete w@nkers! don't think they have any heart and think only of themselves! Hope the guy is ok.

All I can do is wish the victim well, and hope he makes a speedy recovery.
Sorry Wurzel, but given the increase in speeding tickets, and the increase in violent crime, one has to assume that Government considers speeding more serious than rape and murder (especially when you look at some of the sentencing). Consequently, they will do the same with this as they've done with everything else. Nothing.

I do the same, keep the scooby 4 miles away in case anyone tries to steal it or threaten the family and use the EVO VI to transport me from the garage to my house!
Had to try to add some humour to this before we all get suicidal before the weekend!!!

Holy ****.............Why the **** should we have to put up with this? People getting shot for a car! It may be easier to walk every where from now on! Oh no I'll get mugged instead.
I know they had loads of problems 18months ago in the Midlands with scoobies being nicked as someone tried to get mine.
I hope this guy is ok and his g'friend is not too shocked.

So we totally abandoned individual responsibility ... it's all the fault of a political party ?
I think not.
Still, it's ****ty when you read things like this. But people get their Multipla stolen in the same way It's not a Scoob thing, not even a "high performance car" thing.
Funny, a Belgian senator (who I otherwise think he is a cvnt) said on the news last night: "You get a bigger fine speeding than when nicking the same car... that's not right".
Amen.

My wife got car jacked two years ago. She was parking her MR2 and some kid pulled the car door open as she was getting out, and demanded she give him her keys. As it was time of the month she flipped out at the kid and startled him enough to get away from the car with the keys. Being quick, she realised what was happening and threw her keys into a close by bush, the tw@t couldn't get the keys but she still got a kick in. We moved very shortly afterwards.
Not a nice experience at all, but throwing the keys away seemed to be better than a black jack device!

A similar story was about last year. Some guy stopped off at a chippy to get a late meal and he was shot for his Scooby.
Moral of the story: don't worry about it, not a lot you can do.
