Hi all,
what is the purpose of the silicon intercooling piping fitted as part of the PPP kit to a MY99 car?
Does it aid performance, or is it purely because the old rubber wont stand the heat?

As standard, there is a piece rubber hosing. This is replaced bt 2 larger diameter pipes (Samco) & a pice of cast ally.
The diameter (flow?) is obviously increased with also slighly better routing, so less air-turbulence interfering with flow.
Better flow = more air = more bhp
