Hi - PLEASE HELP!

As a proud owner of a 95 WRX, I have recently had the dilema of being offered a company car - of which I have been instructed to go for an economical diesel type eg GOLF GT TDI...yawn...

My dilema is how to persuade my 'virgin' boss with the unique benefits a company scooby will bring...but without stressing its ****e mpg and quite expensive servicing costs?

If I can't 'persuade' him to allow me a company scoob - can anybody recommend a nice fast Diesel or efficient petrol (around the 20k mark, probably 40mpg?)

This ultimately means my partner gets the WRX :-(

cheers

Cool

tell him you want to keep your wrx and use it for company use

charge them mileage for it, that way they will not have to buy or leases a car.

present costs per mile are 45p a mile for first 4000 miles and 25p any mileage after.

ps this is also tax free.

cheers

Do they have any kind of car allowance or cash alternative? That's what I've taken. My current company gives me £6K per year towards running my own car with the only stipulation that it must have 4 full size seats, no 'jeeps' and engine size be under 3.5 litres. A company car would cost me between £200 and £250 per year. The allowance pays for my Scoobie in full. If you can, take the allowance. Also, if you can get your fuel paid for as well then you are onto a big winner. Company cars are about to get very expensive.
