I am quite kene to have the PPP engine conversion put in, but would like to try before you buy so to speak. I spoke to my local dealer and they advised that there isn't one.

Also what is a good price for it I was quoted £1673 + vat + transport to Prodrive

Can anyone recommend a dealer that was cheaper. It is for a MY99.

I am likely to attend the Watford meet at Battleaxe on Sept 9th. I have not been to one of these meets yet so hope to meet a few fellow Scooby lovers. Perhaps if someone has a PPP done, they could show me the difference.

How will you recognise, probably teh one on his own in the corner somewhere, no jokes aside DBM, P1 wheels T*** N**

Price is a bit steep these days. Mine was £1500+VAT fitted at dealer. No demonstrator, but I still haven't paid two weeks down the line - they wanted me to be certain before I shelled out and offered to put it back to standard if not happy. Needless to say I am, and the car is really starting to fly after K&N induction went on today. Downpipe will go on soon, then I will cease all engine mods forever - honest!

Called Anthony Betts 23/8 - no test drives available but could go and listen to one when they next fit. Cost £1600 inclusive of VAT and fitting. However currently quoting 10 week delivery At that rate I have half a mind to wait a few weeks and see if I can get a discount once the back log has cleared.
