Has anyone been caught by a Gatso in a silver scoob?

I heard a rumour (from a very reliable source) who tells me that Gatso cameras have difficulty detecting silver cars. Anyone know if this is true? If it is guess what colour my next car will be!!!

Don't see why, but . .
I have a silver MY02 and have been flashed once - whilst doing 45 in a 50 limit . Previous car was silver too (not a scoob), and I twice got flashed - once for stopping at a red light, and once whilst following a copper at 30 in a 40 limit. Obviously they never sent me anything, as the snaps would have proved I was within the law.
I like the idea that Gatso's can't get me, but please excuse me if I don't test the idea! Perhaps all I need to do is complete the stealth kit by making the car radar and laser proof, with an "instant invisibility mode"

Gatsos work by radar, silver reflects more than other colours, so I doubt it. The best you could hope for is that the car is so shiny that the flash from the camera illuminates your car so brightly that it burns out the lens.
