yes, I set off some car next to me, it was an old sports car, but I can't remember what. So I let it stop and then rev'd up and set it off again.

Made my dad who was passenger grin...

VWs very sensitive to this. If you have a blitz nur spec, or similar, you can have some fun driving past VW dealerships, apparently.

I thought this was a new sport.
I find for best effect you reverse up to the parking space and the sound wave from the exhaust bounces off the wall for maximum impact, usually triggering any alarms within 50 yards!!

Yep, my record for setting off alarms in a day is 6, best areas are multi-storey car parks as the full de-cat Nur SpecR bounces off everything.

Yep, great in`it, every now and then you set an alarm off just by driving past a car in normal traffic,I have got used to it now though but it still makes me smile.(magnex 6x4 oval b/box fitted)

y'know, I bet we'll all be moaning like hell when our car gets nicked/broken into and people just ignore it because everyone just ignores car alarms - after all, they never do what they're supposed to do

My neighbour actually complemented me on the exhaust note the other day - I was shocked...

If you really want to know where the VW dealerships are in Brighton, try Advent in Hove. Directions are here

There's a guy just down the road from me with a Laguna (coincidentally with a P*** ONE plate), who parks near one of the speed ramps, and if I blip the throttle at just the right time when I slow down, I can set off his alarm

All I've got on is a P1 box.
