Hi there

Does anyone know if there is going to be a facelift for the New Age Impreza ?

The current bug-eyed version doesnt look as good as the previous generation.

Rumors of a facelift have been circulating since the cars launch. I suspect a moderate change will be done, as per the normal evolution of the model. I don't expect anything radical as it would require a lot of expensive retooling at the factories.

They need to weigh up the substancial redesign and retooling costs against sales lost because of the controversial looks.

What I will expect to happen is that more light and body styling products will be officially produced, under the guise of giving the customer more choice but really to get more money out of people who want to change the look. Nothing wrong with that, if you realise that's why they're doing it.

Have a look in the members gallery to see some VERY good looking WRX's. Pete Croney, Dave-TS and Dr Evil's cars spring to mind. This shows what can be done by using existing parts.
