I am toally P*ssed off, just bought my P1 and it had a new lipspoiler to be put on,

So my local dealer putsin request for new lip spoiler, which i assume the new ones have a coating on to it.

I find out today Subaru UK are not supplying new lip spiolers for chipped ones and all chipped spoiler now have to go to the locaL dealers bodyshop and be resprayed using a different process.

I am not happy.

So the place you moved it from in Scotland? Was it a dealer who already had a new one in stock for you? And they have lost it?

If so I think you will find that having admitted liability and already agreed the old one was duff and a new one needed, they have an obligation to fit one.

Refuse any other offer.

Have a word with your solicitor as to who the "they" who hold the responsibility are.

You get the same service as everyone else, doesn't automatically get worse cos u forked out for a P1.

Whichever solution you get, new or respray the outcome will be the same.

Hi Gastro

THnaks, we are now gettin there, should be sorted out with the spoiler that you had in Scotland.

It should be here and on in the next couple of weeks.

The most problem was, that someone up there and those at subaru UK, they had no trace of that spoiler, but now today it seems to have turned up.

Just one thing Simon, was it you yourself had the armourfend coatin put on? or do subaru fit it.

The spoiler has a clear film (like armourfend) fitted by Subaru themselves....

Give me a shout if there are any problems....

Dealers eh ? - unbelievable
